WHERE WE COME FROM
It started a long way from a studio.
We met in the Peruvian Amazon, both there with cameras, both quietly obsessed with the same craft — telling a person’s whole story in one honest image. The people we photographed, and the teachers we learned from, taught us that real storytelling can’t be rushed. We’ve been chasing that ever since, and built Mawa to do it properly.
